Class Descriptions
Gentle Yoga ($12)
This class includes gentle stretches, breathing, relaxation, and simple movements to increase range of motion of the major joints. Gentle Yoga is appropriate for seniors or for students who prefer to move at a slower pace. Yoga for Stress Reduction ($12) This course will give you tools to reduce stress, to gain more focus, and to feel more balanced in your life. We will learn asanas (postures), breathing techniques, guided meditation, and deep relaxation. Beginners Yoga (Hatha I) ($12) Our Hatha I class is a basic level class with an emphasis on the fundamentals of breath, alignment in the posture, guided relaxation and meditation. Excellent class for beginners or students with some experience who want to develop a regular practice. Mixed Level Class Introduces new and continuing students to principles of alignment, breathing practices, relaxation and meditation. Modifications for beginners and options to challenge more advanced practitioners offered. Intermediate (Hatha II) ($12) This class is ideal for students with prior yoga experience looking to progress in their yoga practice. Our intermediate yoga class builds upon classic postures, breathing practices, relaxation and meditation. Prior experience recommended. |
